For my thesis, I plan, broadly to learn about how to reduce or alleviate loneliness and social isolation among Canadian older adults. I want to look at the practicalities and benefits/drawbacks of technology use among older adults. I want to explore the relationship between information and communication technologies (ICT) and loneliness and social isolation among older adults.
