Research Area:
My research is focused on quantitative methods and intimate relationships. I explore positive relational processes that make relationships meaningful and worthwhile, and how these processes differ across demographic groups. I am also interested in individual characteristics or processes, such as emotion regulation and identity development, and how they relate to relationship quality. Finally, I hope to examine scholarly assumptions about intimate relationships, and how they inform measurement and methodology.
